Building From the Ground Up:
A Modern Custom Home Kirkland, WA

Contemporary Spaces Made to Gather

When a young family came to Heritage Construction with a lot in Kirkland and a clear vision for how they wanted to live, we knew this was exactly the kind of project we love. No pre-drawn floor plans, no builder-grade compromises — just a family who knew what they wanted and trusted us to help them build it right.

The home they envisioned was clean and modern, but warm — the kind of place that feels designed, not decorated. Open living spaces with high ceilings and plenty of natural light, a kitchen built for people who actually cook, and a primary suite that felt like a genuine retreat. On the exterior, they wanted crisp lines, quality materials, and a presence that fit the established character of their Kirkland neighborhood without trying too hard to stand out.

From lot prep through final walkthrough, Heritage managed every phase of the build. We worked closely with the family throughout design development, helped them navigate King County permitting, and kept them informed at every milestone — no radio silence, no surprises. What started as a vision on paper became a home their kids will grow up in.

Kirkland is one of those communities where the details matter. The neighborhoods are established, the expectations are high, and homes here carry real long-term value. We took that seriously, and it shows in every finish.
